Charlotte Godley Wayside Cross

Location:

Midway between first and second dogleg on Heathcote side of Bridle Path coming from the Summit Road.

Description:

The base of a cross erected in 1857 by Charlotte Godley, concrete tapered plinth with a marble pillar and ornate concrete top.

Inscription on pillar reads:

Wayside Cross erected by Mrs. Godley 1857
