Contact Christchurch City Libraries. They hold many records on microfiche (including Church records) or you can contact the Cemeteries Administrator, details below. Please note there is a charge of $12.00 per search. You should provide the following information, if available: name, approximate date of death and cemetery of the deceased.

Crematoria are privately owned and burial information can be obtained by phoning 389-6282.
Older records have been placed on microfilm for genealogical searches.
