Schools Arbor Day Programme
For schools wishing to take part in beautifying and greening the City around Arbor Day, the Council with support from Trees for Canterbury are donating free trees to schools.
The programme is provided by some of the City’s Community Boards and has been set up to involve school students in Arbor Day planting programmes within their school grounds.
Click here for an application and more information about the Arbor Day for Schools Programme and resource catalogue.
Planting is not just confined to Arbor Day
There are many planting days planned throughout the City, to find out what is happening near you, check out the volunteer events calendar.
