Development Contributions Lookup tool
This tool allows you to search for a property within the wider Christchurch City area on a map, and then display the development contribution charges for one additional residential allotment or household unit equivalent (HUE) of demand on a property. A HUE represents a single residential dwelling.
Development contributions for commercial developments cannot be calculated with the DC Lookup tool. A commercial development may equate to several HUEs, and will be calculated accordingly after consent application.

- All charges shown are indicative only. The final charge will be confirmed before any relevant consent is issued.
- The reserve contribution charge is based on a lot valuation. Therefore, amounts shown for reserve contributions are estimates only and are subject to a formal assessment as part of the consenting process.
- During scheduled maintenance the DC Lookup tool may be unavailable.
- Use of the DC Lookup tool is subject to the CCC website terms of use.
System requirements
To use the Lookup tool, you require one of the following Web browsers:
- Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later. For best results, make sure the free Adobe SVG Viewer plug-in is installed.
- Mozilla Firefox version 2.0 or later (currently being assessed - if you encountered any difficulties, clear cache and refresh the page).
Your browser must be configured to allow pop-ups from mapsdc.ccc.govt.nz.
