Autumn Highlights

What to see and enjoy in the Botanic Gardens during the autumn months:

Annual bedding plant displays – a colourful variety of autumn flowering plants.
Heritage Rose Garden – a fine collection of flowering roses and spectacular rose hips that follow.
Herbaceous Border – a colourful variety of autumn flowering perennials.
Orchid House – a changing grouping of orchids.
Townend House – changing flowering plants display such as Cyclamen, streptocarpus (cape primrose) and Kalanchoes.
Dahlia Border – a wide selection of dahlia cultivars.
Central Rose Garden – late flowering modern garden roses.
Heather Garden – autumn flowering ericas.
Lime Walk – a great show of autumn leaves. 
Leap frog over the leaf piles on the lawns down the Lime Walk.
