Resource Management Officer Subcommittee

What is the Resource Management Officer Subcommittee?
It is a Council Officer Subcommittee, made up of two senior planning officers with delegated authority from the Council to make decisions on a range of resource consent applications and related matters.

The Subcommittee does not consider any applications requiring a hearing, nor does it make decisions on applications for cell sites.

When and where does the Subcommittee meet?
Meetings are held daily in the following locations:

  • Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street
  • Lyttelton Service Centre

Meetings commence at 10.00am and are generally concluded by 12.30pm, although they can continue longer if necessary. The meetings are open to the public.
