Programmes

Our programmes are developed to support the Central City Revitalisation Strategy.

Here, we outline key initiatives of the Council in supporting Central City precinct development for Christchurch.

The Council supports the development of precincts in the Central City. In particular, the Council will focus on the Central City South area by encouraging residential development around a network of lanes and on the AMI Stadium, Roman Catholic Cathedral and CPIT area through roading and street improvements.
