Donations and sponsorship

Here are some opportunities you could consider:

• Gifting land for public gardens and reserves.
• Cash donations for trees for community planting events.
• Cash donations for park furniture, facilities, statues or children's play equipment.
• Sponsorship of a parks event or programme (e.g. financial support, company products, or employee time).
• Donations of rare or uncommon tree species.
• Giving your time – see volunteer in your parks.

Things you need to know:

• We are grateful for your contribution.
• We will endeavour to find an appropriate arrangement. However please understand that all donations and sponsorships need to be aligned with Council management and development plans and policies to ensure that items or programmes can be maintained properly afterwards and your effort is valued.
• Note that while we are keen to acknowledge your donation, signage is not standard practice for all locations but may be considered if in line with management plans and policies.
• Sponsorships may require a formal documentation process.
